About the Product
What is Dipping Oil & Why Does It Matter?
Scientifically formulated for faster drying, better moisture evaporation, and trusted performance for Indian farmers.
Dipping Oil is a scientifically developed emulsifiable solution that helps fruits dry faster by breaking the natural wax layer and improving moisture evaporation.
Dr. Kamat's Doctor's Dipping Oil is made using Ethyl Esters of Fatty Acids technology, developed in-house and trusted by Indian farmers for over 30 years.

India's Most Trusted Dipping Oil — Here's Why
Ethyl Esters of Fatty Acids — 92%
Formulated with 92% Ethyl Esters of Fatty Acids — the scientifically proven active agent that restructures the waxy cuticle of grape berries, enabling rapid and efficient moisture evaporation.
100% Self-Manufactured · 100% Made in India
Unlike brands that source base oil externally, Doctor's Dipping Oil is manufactured entirely in-house by Orgamine Chemicals (I) Pvt. Ltd. — guaranteeing consistency, purity, and the pride of being fully Indian.
100% Organically Biodegradable
The entire formulation — including the emulsifier — is 100% organically biodegradable. Safe for soil health, groundwater, and the environment. Green-chemistry principles throughout.
Effective With & Without Sulphur Dust
Works effectively for grapes dried both with and without applied sulphur dust — making it versatile across diverse regional farming practices across India.
Accelerates the Drying Process
Significantly increases the rate at which moisture leaves the berry. Faster drying means reduced exposure risk and better quality output when climatic conditions are favourable.
Superior Emulsion Stability
Our 6% emulsifier system delivers exceptional emulsion stability — ensuring a uniform, consistent coating on every berry for reliable results batch after batch and season after season.
Crop Applications

Important Advisory
Important Information Every Farmer Must Know
Dipping Oil is a powerful tool in the raisin-making process — but it works in partnership with nature, not instead of it. The quality of your raisins depends on several factors that no dipping oil can override.
Sugar Content (Brix) is Everything
The sugar content (Brix level) of your grapes is the most important factor in raisin quality. If Brix is low, the resulting raisins will be poor quality — regardless of the dipping oil used.
Grape Variety & Quality Determines Output
The variety, maturity, and quality of the grape berry determines the final raisin quality. Dipping Oil only accelerates drying — it does not improve the intrinsic quality of the fruit.
Climatic Conditions Play a Vital Role
Weather during drying is a decisive factor. Heat, airflow, and humidity directly affect the dipping and drying process. Adverse weather slows results even with the best oil.
Please Note
Dipping Oil cannot improve or change the colour of raisins.
Raisin colour depends on grape variety, sunlight, sulphur treatment,
and post-drying handling — not dipping oil.
Always conduct fair, controlled trials by comparing
products at the same location, in the same weather, at the same time
before arriving at any conclusion.
Climate Guide
How Climate Affects Your Drying Results
Weather is a decisive factor in the drying process. Understanding its role helps you plan application and manage realistic expectations for your season.
☀️ Hot, Dry & Windy Weather
Ideal conditions for the oil to perform at its best. Natural ventilation drives moisture evaporation efficiently.
Apply Doctor's Dipping Oil confidently and ensure racks face the prevailing breeze for maximum airflow.
💧 High Humidity & Overcast Skies
Rising humidity is the biggest obstacle in the drying process. Moisture escape slows significantly in humid weather.
Dip immediately and deploy a sprayer. The first 5 days are the most critical — monitor forecasts closely and act without delay.
🌫️ Cloudy or Steam-Humid Conditions
Drying slows considerably. The oil continues working, but at a reduced pace under prolonged humid conditions.
Early, correctly timed application and maximum natural ventilation become even more critical to maintain quality.
Climate Directly Affects Final Results
Climatic conditions directly impact drying speed, raisin quality and market grade. For best results, always align your dipping schedule with local weather conditions and maintain proper ventilation throughout the drying period.
Application Guide
Use the oil precisely and let nature do the drying
Dipping oil accelerates drying, but final results depend on fruit quality, Brix, airflow, humidity and timely farm management.
Orient drying racks
Place racks so rows face the prevailing wind. Natural ventilation is the main driver of drying.
Prepare a stable emulsion
Dilute Doctor's Dipping Oil in warm water as directed and mix until the emulsion is uniform.
Dip for exactly 3 minutes
Time the dipping carefully. Do not under-dip or over-dip, especially during the first five critical days.
Use spray backup in poor weather
In cloudy or humid conditions, use a sprayer as backup and continue monitoring airflow and humidity.
Farmer Advisory
Quality starts with the grape
Dipping oil cannot improve low Brix, poor fruit maturity or grape variety limitations. It also cannot change raisin colour, which depends on variety, sunlight, sulphur treatment and handling.
Conduct controlled trials at the same location, same time and same weather conditions before judging performance.
